Silentjuice

Sorry to sound like a Millenial Andy Rooney, but why don’t DVDs do cool things like Isolated Music Tracks anymore? To the relief of all, the format upgrades for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice have continued to carry the Elfman/Belafonte torch, and you can project the movie on your 85” QED screen with no dialogue or SFX. Or you can take it a step further, like I did, and put Burton’s Expressionism fetish in a context closer to its source. Silver-toned B&W gives Lydia extra Goth bonafides, and the bureaucratic Other-side looks Kafka-esque in a subtle shade of chromium oxide blue-green. Pour a glass of beetle beverage and enjoy.
